Andreas Bernhardt

Andreas works with C-Suite executives and their teams to help them with their leadership in radical transformations. He teaches, coaches, and consults in the areas of high-stakes/real-time leadership, coaching, and change at top business schools and leading corporations. With 25+ years of practical leadership development experience with executives from more than 50 countries, he designed and contributed to numerous international leadership development programs.

At times he also supports in CEO succession processes, works with start-up CEOs, or coaches leadership teams of specialized police units who operate in high risk environments.

Andreas is the Executive Development Advisor & Lead Coach at ESMT Berlin, the international business school founded by 25 leading global organizations – like Allianz, BMW, Daimler, Deutsche Bank, Deutsche Telekom, KPMG, Lufthansa, Bosch, Siemens, SAP, McKinsey, BCG, etc. – which now ranks in the Top 10 globally for executive education (Financial Times ranking). He joined ESMT in Berlin already during its early start-up phase in it’s first year of operations, after various earlier roles in management education, and consulting in the banking industry as well as to the German State Police Forces. Andreas also serves as C-Suite executive coach at INSEAD.

Andreas is co-designer and -convenor of the yearly ESMT Coaching Colloquium, co-editor of “Tricky Coaching: Difficult Cases in Leadership Coaching“, and has reviewed hundreds of tricky leadership coaching cases. He spoke at international academic and practitioner conferences, and conducted workshops like ,,High Velocity Coaching: Developing C-Suite Leaders when the Stakes are High” together with his friends from the Institute of Coaching (a Harvard Medical School affiliate).
