Chan Hyung Park
Chan Hyung Park is a Ph.D. candidate at Washington University in St. Louis, Olin Business School. His research is on problem framing and formulation, strategy formation, creativity, and innovation. He uses machine learning (e.g., Natural Language Processing), surveys, field and lab experiments to understand how to effectively solve difficult problems that are key to strategic success or innovation.
Chan comes to Change Logic with 7+ years of experience in innovation management. During this time, he has been a University Innovation Fellow at Stanford University’s D-school and led teams of university leaders and students to encourage entrepreneurship in universities.
Before and after entering the Ph.D. program at Olin, he assisted an entrepreneurship training center in China and consulted top managers in established Chinese firms going through digital transformation. He has published and presented research in a peer-reviewed journal and conferences.
Chan holds B.A. in Washington University in St. Louis and is based in East Asia and the U.S.
