Core and Explore

Change Logic has been working for twenty years to help firms balance exploration into new opportunities with a focus on the core business. Our Harvard and Stanford business school founders started this work in the 1990s.  They published award winning books and articles on “explore and exploit” and the ambidextrous organization as a way to lead “disruptive innovation”. They then applied the approach at scale at IBM in the early 2000s, which became our firm’s foundations.

They are willing to stand-out from the crowd, act with independence, and break the firm’s taboos to commercialize disruptive ideas.

Thought Leadership

Our work builds on four decades of research by our founders, Professor Michael Tushman (Harvard Business School), Professor Charles O’Reilly (Stanford Graduate School of Business) and Andy Binns. Change Logic has extended this research, building a practical toolkit that marries research to practical application.
