Suzanne Flapan

Suzanne Flapan, D.O., F.A.C.O.G. is a clinical OBGYN who specializes in excellence in health care delivery through systems, innovation, and communication. She works with patients, clinicians, and administrators to improve outcomes and enhance satisfaction among all stakeholders. Dr. Flapan graduated from Tufts University with a BA in History and Latin American Studies.

She returned to her love of science and medicine and her commitment to improving the human condition by attending the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, IA. She devoted a year to Family Medicine and completed her training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Brooklyn Hospital.

She was the recipient of The Academic Leadership Award as an undergraduate and was inducted into the Sigma Sigma Phi Osteopathic Medical Honor Fraternity. Additionally, Suzanne was honored for her Service to the Medically Underserved by the AOA. In addition to clinical practice, she leads “Ask The Gyno” round table sessions with adolescents and frequently speaks about Women’s Health Issues at community events.
