INSIDE OUT

What is inside out?

An inside out thinking or strategy means you develop a product, service, or/and offering based on internal thinking, expertise, and intuition, then you create desire for it in customers. Customer’s needs, problems, and perspectives are minimized or not considered at all. Decisions are essentially business-driven or assumption-based, you think you know what’s best for customers.

What is an example of successful inside out thinking?

While the result of inside out thinking usually turns out to satisfy experts and inventors more than it does customers, it may still lead to successful outcomes like iPhone when you target needs customers don’t articulate or cannot anticipate.
